PROMOTION TEST PREPARATION
testing for Yellow Belt with Green Stripe
Final decisions on testing readiness will be made by Masters Marr and Bayless. Forms will be handed out to those deemed ready starting two weeks before the scheduled test.
In order to be eligible to test for your Green Stripe, you must have completed a minimum of 30 classes before the test,
and be able to confidently demonstrate:
Demonstrate our School Rules each time you come to class and be able to recite them.
1. Students must salute the flags when entering and leaving the Do Jang.
2. Students must bow to Black Belt Instructors upon greeting.
3. Students must use the words Sir (male) or Ma’am (female) when speaking to Black Belt Instructors.
4. Students must attend classes regularly.
5. Students must keep the Do Jang clean.
Be able to count to ten in Korean:
Hah-nah (1)
Dool (2)
Seht (3)
Net (4)
Dta-suht (5)
Yeo-suht (6)
Il-gope (7)
Yuh-dull (8)
Ah-hope (9)
Yull (10)

- Dan Gun
- High block followed by reverse punch
- Step behind side kick (board break)
- Middle guarding block with knifehand
- Twin forearm block
- Retention of all previous techniques and Chon-ji
