Our summer day camp, designed for children ages 6-14, is so much more than Taekwon-do! No previous Taekwon-do experience is necessary but those with prior training at our dojang or elsewhere are welcome. Everyone will benefit.
Every day begins with a Taekwon-do class, with beginners learning the core movements of this Korean martial art, and more experienced students being challenged with new techniques and applications. Depending on the weather and our week's theme, the rest of the day may include indoor or outdoor team games, crafts, playground time, mental challenges, board games, and free play. No two weeks are the same.
MMTKD Junior Black Belts are encouraged to join us as junior counselors (regular enrollment required) and will be given minor leadership tasks. MMTKD Black Belts who are 13 years and older may apply to be assistant counselors; applicants must be comfortable taking initiative and leading activities.
Feel free to call us at 216-921-KICK with any questions.

- June 8 - 12: Wizards. Magic lovers will be sorted into teams and enjoy a week of good-natured competition against fellow wizards, taking classes in Potions, Herbology, and Magical Creatures and earning team points along the way.
- August 3 - 7: TKD Demonstration Team. Those who love to be the center of attention can demonstrate their Taekwon-do skills at the end-of-the-week presentation. This week of camp will include lots of kicking, punching, jumping, and practice as we prepare to wow family and friends.
- August 10 - 14: Demigods. Know the difference between a minotaur and a centaur? Want to know how to guard against them? Fans of Percy Jackson will love learning about Greek mythology and practicing their monster-fighting skills, including a game or two of Capture the Flag.
