ages 12-17
Being a teenager can be very challenging. Too old to be lumped in with young children, yet uncomfortable grouped with adults, teenagers are also busy discovering their own interests, independent of what their parents might choose for them.
Taekwon-do is often a great physical fitness choice for teenagers. Unlike team sports, Taekwon-do students work to improve themselves with the support of others but without the pressure of letting the team down. Students are assessed based on their own abilities and challenges, not in comparison to others. Taekwon-do strengthens both your physical and mental self.
Our program allows teenagers to join the class in which they feel most comfortable. They can choose to be role models for the younger students in the Children's classes, work with the most focused and serious students in the Adult classes, or blend into the All Ages classes, where they will generally be somewhere in the middle of the age range.
